Uppingham to Represent East Midlands in National Awards |

The Uppingham Wifi Project, a partnership project with Rutland Telecom, has been judged to be the East Midlands most outstanding market town project for 2010 and has been selected to represent the region in the Action for Market Towns (AMT) National Awards to be held in October. Commenting on the project's selection to represent the East Midlands at the national awards, Uppingham First Chairman Robert Wills said, " We are delighted that our project has been recognised in this way. The national awards present the ideal opportunity to showcase Uppingham and Rutland as a desireable place to live, work and visit.
